Mutton keema curry
Ingredients
Minced mutton 250 grams
Ginger 1 inch crushed
Garlic 3 pods crushed
Onion 1 medium sized
Tomato 1 chopped
Curry leaves 1 sprig
Coriander leaves to garnish
Cumin powder 1 tsp
Chilli powder 1 tsp
Coriander powder 2 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Salt as needed
Coconut milk 1 cup
Method
Minced mutton 250 grams

Coriander leaves to garnish
Cumin powder 1 tsp
Chilli powder 1 tsp
Coriander powder 2 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Salt as needed
Coconut milk 1 cup
Method
- In a pressure pan add 2 tsps of oil and heat.
- Once heated up put in the crushed ginger and garlic and sauté.
- Then add in the finely chopped onions and curry leaves and sauté till it becomes translucent.
- Now throw in the tomato and sauté for 2 minutes.
- At this point add in the minced mutton called keema and toss well till the color changes.
- Then add the turmeric powder and salt and mix well till the meat oozes out water.
- Then add the spice powders and give a good stir and pressure cook for 8 whistles.
- Once the meat is cooked add in coconut milk and put in the stove for 2 mins and turn off.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
This recipe is a good combination with idli, dosa, chapathi, rotis and parathas.
