Paneer butter masala(all ground)





Ingredients

Paneer cubes- 1 cup
Onion- 1 medium size
Tomato- 2 medium size
Cumin- 1 tsp
Garam masala- 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder- 1 tsp
Coriander powder- 1 tsp
Cashew- 6
Dried fenugreek leaves- 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste- 1 tsp
Coriander leaves
Butter- 1 tbsp
Cream- 2 tbsp
Oil- 1tsp


Method
  1. In a pan, add 1 tsp of oil and heat. Toss the paneer cubes in the oil for a minute so that they retain the shape in gravy.
  2. Keep aside and in the same pan, add 1/2 tsp butter and in the sliced onions and saute till translucent.
  3. Add in the chopped tomatoes and cashews and cook till tomatoes are soft.
  4. Let this cool and make into a fine paste.
  5. In the same pan, add in the butter and cumin seeds, ginger garlic paste and cook till the raw smell is out.
  6. Now, add the paste and all the spice powders and salt and mix well. 
  7. Simmer for 10 minutes. 
  8. Add about 1/4 cup of water. Mix well. Add in the cream and paneer cubes and mix gently. 
  9. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Crush the dried fenugreek and add into the pan and garnish with coriander leaves.
