Paneer butter masala(all ground)
Ingredients
Paneer cubes- 1 cup
Onion- 1 medium size
Tomato- 2 medium size
Cumin- 1 tsp
Garam masala- 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder- 1 tsp
Coriander powder- 1 tsp
Cashew- 6
Dried fenugreek leaves- 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste- 1 tsp
Coriander leaves
Butter- 1 tbsp
Cream- 2 tbsp
Oil- 1tsp
Method
- In a pan, add 1 tsp of oil and heat. Toss the paneer cubes in the oil for a minute so that they retain the shape in gravy.
- Keep aside and in the same pan, add 1/2 tsp butter and in the sliced onions and saute till translucent.
- Add in the chopped tomatoes and cashews and cook till tomatoes are soft.
- Let this cool and make into a fine paste.
- In the same pan, add in the butter and cumin seeds, ginger garlic paste and cook till the raw smell is out.
- Now, add the paste and all the spice powders and salt and mix well.
- Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add about 1/4 cup of water. Mix well. Add in the cream and paneer cubes and mix gently.
- Cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Crush the dried fenugreek and add into the pan and garnish with coriander leaves.
