Pineapple pulliserry




Classic Kerala curry!!




Ingredients

Pineapple- 1/2 cubed
Beaten curd- 1 cup
Turmeric powder- 1 tsp
Chilli powder- 1/2 tsp
Salt- 1/2 tsp
Sugar- 1 tsp(optional)

Fine Coconut paste( adding 1 tsp water) : Coconut- 4 tbsp, Cumin- 1 tsp, Green chilli- 1
Tempering: Coconut oil- 1 tbsp, Cumin- 1/2 tsp, Fenugreek seeds- 1/2 tsp,  Mustard seeds, Urad dal, Curry leaves, Dry red chilli

Method



  1. In a pan, add pineapple, turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt and 1/2 cup water and bring to a boil. 
  2. Add the ground paste and cook it covered for 5 minutes.
  3. Check for salt and add sugar and give a mix.
  4. Turn off the flame, add the beaten curd and mix once.
  5. Mix the tempering into the curry.
