Vella dosai
This recipe is a healthier evening snack for kids.
Ingredients
Jaggery- 100 grams
Wheat flour- 1 cup
Coconut - 1/2 slit(small pieces)
Ghee- 1 tsp
Cardamom- 4(minced)

Method
- In a vessel, take about 1 cup of water and add jaggery and make it to boil. Stain the jaggery water to remove if any impurities.
- In a bowl, take wheat flour and mix the jaggery water into it little by little and prepare the batter. The batter should be of thicker consistency than for ordinary dosa.
- Now, add ghee in a pan and heat it. Once hot, add coconut pieces and cardomom and fry till coconut turns brown.
- Mix this with the batter. If you do not have jaggery water to add extra, you can add a little normal water just before adding ghee into batter.
- With this, make thicker dosa and let it cook well till dark brown spots can be seen in the dosa.
