Raagi kozhukattai


Ingredients
Raagi flour- 2 cups
Currry leaves- few chopped
Red chillies- 3
Onion- few chopped
Urad dhal- 1 tsp
Coconut- 1 tsp grated
Mustard seeds- few
Salt

Method
  • In a pan, dry roast the raagi flour for about 4 minutes.
  • Then add salt to the flour and give a mix.
  • Meanwhile, boil water in a vessel.
  • Add the hot water little by little to the flour and mix it using a spatula.
  • For seasoning, take a pan, add oil and heat. Once oil is heated, add mustard, urad dhal, broken red chillies, curry leaves, onion and coconut and mix well.
  • Then add this to the flour and mix .
  • Make kozhukattai as shown in the picture and steam them in idli cooker.
