Chicken curry
Ingredients
Chicken- 1 kg
Onion- 2 (large cut into small cubes)
Tomato- 3( medium size)
Green chilli- 3(slit)
Curry leaves
Coriander leaves 1 cup
Mint leaves few
Pattai/ Cinnamon- 2 inch stick
Cloves- 2
Ginger- 3 inch piece
Garlic- 7/8 cloves
Cashew- 4
Chilli powder- 2 tsp
Garam masala- 1/2 tsp
Chicken masala- 2 tsp
Coriander powder- 1 tsp
Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
Oil- 1 tbsp
Method

Method
- Clean the chicken pieces with turmeric really well.
- Heat oil in a pan and once it is heated up, add cinnamon, cloves, curry leaves, green chillies and saute for 2 minutes.
- Meanwhile grind 2 tomatoes, 1/2 cup coriander leaves, ginger, garlic, mint, cashews into a smooth paste.
- Into the pan, throw in onions and cook till it gets brown and then add the tomato pieces and cover with a lid to cook it mushy.
- Add the ground masala and cook till the raw smell is out.
- Add now the chicken and saute a few minutes till the color changes white.
- Add in all the spice powders and mix well.
- Cook uncovered till the chicken oozes out the moisture.
- Then add the required amount of water as of the needed consistency and add salt and cook it covered till the chicken cooks completely.
- Garnish with the rest of coriander leaves.
