Fish fry/ Meen varuval








Ingredients

Fish(any variety)- 1/2 kg
Turmeric powder- 1 tsp
Chilli powder- 2 tsp
Coriander powder- 1 tsp
Pepper powder- 1 tsp
Salt
Lemon juice- 2 tbsp
Oil- 1tsp to make the paste
Oil to fry

Method
  • Clean the fish really well.
  • In a bowl, take all the other ingredients and make a smooth paste.
  • Let the paste be a little smooth so as to coat well over the fish.
  • Marinate the fish with the masala and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  • In a pan,  drizzle 2 tbsp of oil to heat up.
  • Place the fish and keep flame on medium and cover the pan. Cook for 4-5 minutes.
  • Flip over all the pieces and repeat the same till it is completely cooked.
