Chicken roast
This chicken roast is one recipe you can cook easier and am sure this will taste fabulous. Since the recipe holds a good dose of the Indian spices and ginger garlic paste, the outer part turns crunchy and the inner part is a juicy chicken to taste (drooling!!!)
Ingredients
Chicken legs- 6
Cinnamon- 1 inch
Cloves- 2
Onion- 1/2
Oil- 1 tsp
Ghee- 1 tsp
Chilli powder- 1 tsp
Curry leaves
To grind:
Tomato- 1
Chilli powder- 1 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder- 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder- 1 tsp
Ginger- 1 inch
Garlic- 4 cloves
Coriander leaves
Method
- In a pressure cooker, heat up oil.
- Saute cinnamon, cloves, onion well and add in cleaned chicken legs. Make some slits in the legs to let the masala spread in.
- Make a smooth paste of all the ingredients to grind.
- Throw the paste in when the chicken oozed out water and pressure cook for 5 whistles in high flame.
- Take a pan and heat up ghee, keeping the pan in low flame, add in chilli powder, curry leaves and salt and mix well.
- Then add the cooked chicken and roast it thoroughly in medium flame.
