Mutton Brain Fry

Ingredients

Mutton brain 500 grams
Tomatoes 4 medium sized
Mustard seeds
Curry leaves
Chilli powder 2 tsp
Salt
Oil 1 tsp

Method


  • Grind the tomatoes in a mixer into a smooth paste.
  • Heat oil in a non stick pan and once oil is heated put mustard seeds and let it splutter.
  • Then add curry leaves and the cleaned brain.
  • Saute it a few minutes till the meat changes color.
  • Then throw in the tomato paste and chilli powder and salt as needed.
  • Mix well and cover it with a lid and cook till the oil oozes out.
  • Cook it till the dish gets dried and the tomato paste gets coated over the meat.
  • Check for salt and you can serve it hot with rice or as a side dish.
